Balance out your activities by including the 3 following areas:

Cardiovascular Endurance-Continuous activities for your heart, lungs, and circulatory system. This is the most important component of fitness, as all the other systems of the body also require a strong circulatory system.  Cardio endurance activities should be performed 4-7 days a week.

Muscular Strength and Endurance- Activities against resistance to strengthen muscles and bones and improve posture. Muscular endurance is the length of time you can continually contract the muscle before becoming fatiqued. Muscular strength activities should be performed 2-4 days a week.

Flexability- Flexability is the measure of your joint's range of motion. It also gives you more mobility and helps prevent injury. Although it is often overlooked, flexability is an extremely important component of fitness. Flexability activities should be performed 4-7 days a week.
